of minerals.  The mouth is silky and
rich with honeydew and tropical fruits.  
This delightful wine has a long yet not
over-lingering finish accented
by sweet mandarin.
2008 SYLVANER    $14

1.8% RS (16% Riesling)

Sylvaner is a wine that is unique to
Rancho Sisquoc, as we are the only
producers of this varietal in California.
The nose has hints of light lime,
apricot, sweet pear and roasted
peanuts which also follow through in
the fantastic flavor. This crisp
favorite finishes clean with a
hint of lingering sweetness.
2007 CHARDONNAY  $20
(Wine Club: $18)

The sweet aromatics are full of peach,
pear, melon and butterscotch.  Rich
flavors of ripe nectarine, hints of
vanilla, pear and cream make this
Chardonnay special.  All of this lush
fruit and full texture is well supported
by a firm backbone of acidity and oak.  
French oak aged for 9 months.   
2008 RIESLING
$12 (Wine Club: $10.80)

This Riesling opens with a blast of
nectarine and pear concentrate that is
complimented by touches of rose petal
& spicy caramel.  As this medium
sweet wine rolls over the palate, ripe
fig and sweet lime dominate the flavor
with hints of honeydew melon and
peach preserves.  With a balance of
high acidity and high residual sugar
this wine finishes crisp.
2007 MERLOT

      (13% Cabernet Sauvignon)                
         
This is a dense ruby red wine with some
special characteristics.  This Merlot is a
complex wine that showcases austere
fruits such as sweet currant,
pomegranate and earthy cherry. There
are also flavors of coffee and oak.  A well
rounded mid palate of cherry-espresso,
chocolate and hints of anise lead to a
clean and lingering finish.   Barrel aged
18 months in French, Hungarian, and
American oak.    
2007 MALBEC
$30 (Wine Club: $27)

Our Malbec is known for its intense
inky appearance and this vintage is no
exception.  The bouquet opens with
vanilla bean and honey and then gives
way to strawberry pie filling, black jam
and chocolate.  The robust middle
shows plum, blackberry, floral notes
and is long in the mouth-feel.  The
finish is of toasty vanilla oak with dried
black fruits and full tannins.  Barrel
aged for 19 months in French oak.

2006 SYRAH  $25
(Wine Club: $22.50)
(89% Syrah & 11% Pt. Sirah)

This Syrah is dark and deep purple in
color and shows long slow legs.  The
complex aromas of cedar, licorice and
cola are complimented by hints of
violet.  The full papate is dominated
with cherry, black fruits with tame
toasted oak and ripe tannin.  The
finish is down right opulent.  French
oak aged for 18 months.
2006 CELLAR SELECT MERITAGE

(32% Cabernet Sauvignon, 26% Merlot,
17% Petit Verdot, 15% Malbec,
10% Cab Franc)

Opening with a blast of ripe black cherry
and vanilla extract this wine leads you
down a decadent road of flavors; raspberry
pie, fresh baked brownie, sweet caramel
with spice tones of licorice and cinnamon.
 The rich smoky mouth has opulent
tannin and is full of toasty jammy black
fruits ending with a firm, full and long
finish.  Aged for 28 months in French oak.

2007 SISQUOC RIVER RED   $16

40% Cab Sauv/Franc, 27% Merlot,
20%Syrah/ Petit Syrah, 13%Malbec

The aromas in this bright cherry colored
blend are of toasted almond, caramel,
toffee and fudge with subtle plum, date
and blackberry reduction.  The very
smooth mouth shows an abundance of
black cherry and dried dark fruits with
hints of clove that lead to a fruit filled
oak flavor on a friendly palate.
New American and Hungarian oak aged
for 15 months.
2008 PINOT NOIR

Red ruby and bright violet hue with
long legs invite expectations of a rich,
concentrated Pinot and the ’08
delivers!  This wine opens with vanilla
custard, crème brulee and toasty oak
supported by red fruits and cola
spices.  The mouth is full and
concentrated with strawberry, black
cherry and raspberry fruits leading to
sweet caramel and pleasing tannin that
bring about a long supple finish.  
French oak aged for 12 months.
2007 CABERNET SAUVIGNON   $24.00

Rich and firm, this mature Cabernet
expresses aromas of licorice, vanilla,
fresh thyme and cocoa.  The oak core is
nicely framed by blackberry,
brambleberry and bold tannin.  The jam
filled middle strikes a pleasant balance
for such a big wine.  Hungarian, French
and American oak aged for 19 months.

This fabulous blend is dominated by
Sangiovese attributes.  The nose is
profiled with cherry, raspberry and red
fruit aromas and some toasty oak.  
This well structured wine opens up
with black jam, sweet herbs and floral
tones.  A bright finish accompanies
the wine with signature Sangiovese
tannin.  Aged for 18 months in
Hungarian oak.

(50% Cabernet Sauvignon & 50% Shiraz)
This is the most unique Wine Club
special bottling to date. This is a dark,
inky and rich wine with layer upon layer of
Shiraz & Cabernet.  Plum jam, black fruits
framed with toasty vanilla oak all push
forward into a full mouth with flavors of
pie filling, spice, smoke and sweet earth.  
In the end black cherry and toast linger
with rich opulent tannin.
100% Hungarian oak aged for 19 months.

2006 SANGIOVESE - SOLD OUT

From the opening nose you will know you
are drinking a well cellared wine.  Showing
the full extent of its almost three years in
barrel, it has an unmistakable candied red
fruit and licorice intensity similar to a
good Italian Amarone.  Flavors of ripe
cherry, raspberry and pomegranate help
maintain the typical bold structure and
tannin found in our Sangiovese.  This
wine was oak aged for 32 months and will
finish dry.
